John Reeves
CEO and founder of Reef Point Realty—combat veteran, Pop Warner football coach, real estate investor, and family man. This former Marine came to San Diego in 1996 where as an infantryman he learned to embrace selfless leadership in taking care of his own. He excelled as a Non Commissioned officer, earning two meritorious promotions and an appointment to the United States Naval Academy. He graduated with a B.S degree in Economics in 2003. He attended the Navy Supply School in Athens, GA and was commissioned as a Marine Aviation Logistics officer. He commanded his own logistics detachment in Al Taqaddum, Iraq where he saved thousands of man hours, perhaps lives, by expediting the flow of material across a complex supply chain to a Marine forward operating base air base. Upon return to the United States in 2007, his commanding officer had him trained in Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints methodologies; he then mentored 900 enlisted Marines in process improvement to enhance the unit’s performance. He garnered an award for exceptional achievement which was personally handed to him by the commandant of the Marine Corps. After leaving the Corps, the veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan started his own business leveraging his expertise as a logistician, project manager, Real Estate investor, and leader. He specializes in helping service members and veterans buy, sell, or build their own homes. In July, 2010, he served his country again with the US Combined Armed Services Rugby team as he played rugby in Australia against the Australian Armed Services Rugby team. Brandon Rampani
With over 7 years in the housing industry, Brandon partnered with John and Reef Point Realty in October of 2011. Bringing to the business are his skills in loan mediation, interior design, management and salesmanship. Their partnership actually occurred over 10 years ago when John and Brandon attended the United States Naval Academy together and graduated in 2003. Since this, their friendship and focus on partnering together quickly became apparent when the need for two strong, dynamic personalities tied to the military was necessary for Reef Point Realty to grow into a conglomerate housing benefit for all active and non-active military personnel. A former collegiate athlete and graduate of Economics, Brandon prides himself of benefitting others and maintaining life-long relationships.
He was born in Kansas City, Missouri and currently lives in San Diego, CA. He is also licensed loan officer and interior designer of Washington State where he has a beautiful home in Issaquah, WA where his family currently operates a BarBQ restaurant.
Tiffiney Welles
Tiffiney is Reef Point Realty’s broker of record. She is the former Vice President of Legal Affairs for the San Diego Association of REALTORS. She was instrumental in the creation of many of the forms used today by agents in California. During her tenure at the Association she did not want to just teach the REALTORS about contracts and real estate, she wanted to be able to speak from experience. So she began investing and flipping homes on her weekends. She is the kind of person who doesn’t just talk the talk but she walks it. Some say it is in her blood. Tiffiney has been in real estate for over 12 years and is the 3rd generation in her family to buy, rehab and sell real estate for herself and clients. Her great grandmother was the first to find the love of real estate her profession, then her grandfather. Her grandfather is a WWII Army Vet who had one goal when the war ended… retire. His love of real estate took him from buying a small shack and rehabbing to buying land and building some of the most beautiful homes in Washington. And he did retire at 40. That’s when he spent his time with Tiffiney to teach her the ropes. He would tell her “own property Tiffiney.. it’s your home, it’s your investment in the future.”
Tiffiney took this to heart and made her way to San Diego. She is a San Diego State University graduate. She also attended Thomas Jefferson School of law and has many certifications for real estate and mediation training. Her background is diverse from the legal field to real estate. She also studies servant leadership and believes that with success giving back to the community is also a big part. Tiffiney is the former president of Rebuilding Together San Diego; A charity for rehabbing/repairing low income, elderly and disabled home owners. She also participates in the Special Olympics and WIC/Becky’s House.

Alex Caragiannides
Alex is one of the top mortgage originators in San Diego County. That is because Alex has developed a specialized team and a unique Mortgage Concierge Program that hinges on providing a “Red Carpet” experience. “I believe that my success as a mortgage advisor is a direct result of my training and mentoring to ‘take action’ and ‘Just Do It’ mind-set. From there I developed a commitment to providing a concierge experience to my clients and Realtors, but more so, I learned that a mortgage is a financial tool that managed properly, will help you reach financial peace much more efficiently.”
From the way I answer my telephone (or return calls), to my commitment to delivering what I promise, you will see that I am dedicated to providing nothing less than a “Red Carpet” mortgage experience for you! I believe you should play as hard as you work and life is meant to be enjoyed. One of my favorite quotes is from Zig Ziglar: “You can have everything in life that you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.” That’s my goal, that’s my passion.
My past clients will tell you that I value relationships over transactions and that I’m not into the typical high pressure sales thing. I prefer to advise my clients on all mortgage options and suggest the best fit for their situation. Anyone can get you a loan; it takes listening, understanding, and proper planning to put you into the right kind of loan that makes sense for you and your family now and in the long run. I love working with great people and I love working hard to take great care of them.
I have a beautiful fiancée here in San Diego that I spend a lot of my free time with and a 14 year old son named George who definitely keeps me young and on my toes. I love being outdoors and staying active. It seems that it’s easy to get caught up in work and life at the office, and it’s such a refreshing change of pace to come home and spend time with my family and friends.
